Balancing heritage & buyer engagement.
We were recently invited to Denham Place, a stunning historic estate just outside London, to film an immersive video capturing its grandeur and charm. By using high-resolution visuals and spatial audio, this technology allows potential buyers to experience the property as if they were walking through its halls and gardens in person, even from thousands of miles away. Immersive video has become a powerful tool in selling large and high-value properties, giving overseas clients the ability to explore every detail and truly appreciate the atmosphere without the need to travel, ultimately making the sales process more engaging and efficient.

Painshill Park
Apple Immersive Video offers significant mental health benefits by creating deeply engaging and calming experiences that allow viewers to momentarily escape daily stress. Its high-fidelity visuals and spatial audio immerse individuals in serene environments, fostering mindfulness and reducing anxiety. Capturing content in tranquil, nature-rich settings like Painshill Park in the UK perfectly complements this experience. With its winding lakes, historic grottoes, and elegant landscape gardens, Painshill provides an ideal backdrop for restorative visuals that encourage relaxation and mental clarity. Immersive footage of gentle water reflections, birdsong, and lush greenery can help viewers feel present, grounded, and rejuvenated, even from the comfort of home.

Grimsthorpe Castle
Filming Apple Immersive footage at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire provided a remarkable opportunity to capture the grandeur and historic elegance of the estate in stunning detail. The castle’s sweeping grounds, ornate architecture, and atmospheric interiors offered the perfect backdrop for immersive visual storytelling, highlighting both its stately charm and cinematic potential. Notably, Grimsthorpe Castle has also served as a filming location for the acclaimed Netflix series Bridgerton, lending its authentic period aesthetics to the show’s iconic Regency-era scenes. This combination of heritage and high technology created a unique production experience, seamlessly blending historical splendour with cutting-edge Apple Immersive capabilities.

Resolves new immersive workflow
Immersive Pixel has been actively exploring the new immersive workflow introduced in the latest DaVinci Resolve update, integrating its advanced tools into our production pipeline. We have been testing the enhanced timeline management, immersive colour grading capabilities, and streamlined VR playback features to assess their impact on real-time editing and visual fidelity. Early results demonstrate a significant improvement in efficiency when working on multi-dimensional projects, allowing us to deliver richer, more engaging experiences for our clients. This hands-on testing is helping us refine our workflow while ensuring we stay at the forefront of immersive content creation.

Framing for 180°
Capturing footage on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera in 180° offers a profound learning experience, as it introduces a completely new way of filming content. Unlike traditional cameras, this setup demands a heightened awareness of spatial composition, movement, and depth, as every element within the half-sphere can contribute to the viewer’s immersive experience. Operating in 180° challenges filmmakers to rethink framing and storytelling, as subtle gestures or environmental details become far more pronounced and engaging. Mastering this medium requires experimenting with camera placement, understanding how proximity affects perception, and adapting to a workflow where the viewer feels truly present in the scene. It is both technically demanding and creatively liberating, opening up an entirely fresh approach to visual storytelling.

Getting a grip with grip
Immersive filming requires a completely different set of tools and set-ups to capture immersive footage in the right way. From hand-held gimbals to hydraulic dollies, every component must be carefully chosen to ensure smooth, dynamic shots that draw the viewer into the scene. At VMI.TV in London, many hours were spent testing and re-testing equipment to achieve the perfect results. We explored a wide range of stabilisation systems, experimented with camera configurations, and evaluated different rig options to find the best combination for creating truly engaging, three-dimensional visuals.

Demos, demos, demos!
Immersive Pixel has enjoyed an exceptionally busy month, spending countless hours demonstrating the Apple Vision to both new and existing clients, allowing them to experience first-hand the potential of cutting-edge immersive technology. From private demos to interactive sessions, we have been fully engaged in showcasing the creative possibilities and practical applications of this new platform. With every demonstration, excitement continues to grow, and the entire team is energised and optimistic about the bright future of immersive content and the opportunities it holds for transforming how audiences engage with digital experiences.
